A computer system and method for dynamically managing geographic data residency compliance during real-time unified communications sessions. The system monitors multiple concurrent data streams generated during video conferences, voice communications, and AI-enhanced features including automated captioning, translation, and content summarization. A compliance engine evaluates participant locations, data stream classifications, applicable regulatory requirements, and organizational policies to determine permissible processing jurisdictions for each data type. The system implements intelligent routing logic that directs individual data streams to geographically-appropriate server infrastructure satisfying all applicable constraints. Dynamic recalculation capabilities enable real-time compliance adjustments when session parameters change, such as new participant arrivals from different jurisdictions, without disrupting ongoing communications. The architecture supports heterogeneous data sovereignty requirements across multiple regulatory frameworks while maintaining seamless user experience and communication continuity throughout the session lifecycle.
