Approved abstract
A continuous authorization system for real-time communication sessions that dynamically evaluates and adjusts participant permissions throughout the duration of video calls, remote support sessions, and online meetings. Unlike conventional single-point authentication systems, the invention performs ongoing security assessments by continuously monitoring contextual factors including device characteristics, security posture, and network environment for each participant. Based on real-time evaluation of these factors, the system dynamically grants, modifies, or revokes access to privileged features such as screen sharing, remote device control, and sensitive data viewing without terminating the underlying communication session. When a participant’s security context changes—such as transitioning to an unsecured network—the system automatically adjusts permissions while maintaining basic session connectivity. This enables organizations to enforce granular, context-aware security policies that adapt to evolving risk conditions during active sessions, particularly in regulated environments requiring protection of sensitive information.
